Disneyland’s new restaurant, The Tropical Hideaway was announced to be added to the park back during the summer. The Disney Parks Blog has released new photos showing off what the new restaurant looks like, and it looks so tropical and amazing.
This new exotic marketplace is going to be the go-to destination to discover extraordinary eats from around the world. The new restaurant is set along Jungle Cruise, so you have somewhere to sit and relax in between adventures, and relaxing while enjoying a Dole Whip. Once sunset happens, flickering torchlights will add to the evening ambiance.
You can access the hideaway from the main bridge through the Enchanted Tiki Room, or from “Skipper’s Walk,” the pathway leading from the Jungle Cruise loading dock.
Colorful wildlife will also be found at the hideaway. The stars of the Enchanted Tiki Room live there in small birdhouses, and those houses will dot the roofline.
Rosita, from the Enchanted Tiki Room, has decided to spread her wings and take on a solo career. She is going to be waiting on the dock for her boat to arrive, and she will be making small talk with visitors.
And around every nook and cranny, there will be details to discover. There is no date currently for when this new restaurant will open, but I can’t wait to hear all about it.
