From the moment The Child, a/k/a “Baby Yoda” appeared in The Mandalorian, speculation ran rampant as to its origin. Favorite among the theories is the notion that The Child is the love child of Yoda and Yaddle. Of course, the only similarity among the three is their (unknown) species. But it does beg the question: what happened to the Jedi Master?
Remember, she was a member of the Jedi Council during the events of The Phantom Menace. After that, however, we never saw Yaddle again. So where did she go? Why did she not participate in the Clone Wars? Looking back now, there are very few references to the character in canon following Episode I.

In the video above, Stupendous Wave pieces together all the cannon references for the character. While this gives us an idea of what happened to the Jedi Master, her fate is still clouded in mystery. Did she run from the Council having foreseen Anakin Skywalker’s fall? If she stayed on the Council, could she have helped to prevent it?
